Online hotel bookings - a joint European approach or a most favoured nation?

The French, Italian and Swedish authorities recently announced their decisions to accept identical commitments to settle their investigations. The case involved unprecedented coordination between several national authorities to address a European-wide issue. However there is a risk that the German Bundeskartellamt rejects the same commitments which raises concerns about the inconsistent application of EU competition law and different regulations applying to online platforms within the EU.
