Slaughter and May announces new head of its Hong Kong office
Benita Yu will take on the role of Hong Kong Senior Partner from 1 October
International law firm Slaughter and May today announces the appointment of Benita Yu as Senior Partner of the firm’s Hong Kong office.
Benita will take up the role on 1 October 2022, following the planned retirement of the current Hong Kong Senior Partner, Peter Brien.
Benita joined the firm in 1994 and has been a Partner since 1996. She is considered one of Hong Kong’s most prominent corporate lawyers and has represented major corporates, PRC state-owned enterprises, international issuers and leading investment banks with high profile securities, M&A and corporate finance transactions.
