Slaughter and May wins Gold Payroll Giving Quality Mark for 2009
For the third consecutive year, Slaughter and May has been awarded a Gold Payroll Giving Quality Mark.
The Quality Mark is a Government-driven initiative designed to recognise the efforts of firms and companies that enable their employees to make charitable donations from their pre-tax salary. The Gold Quality Mark is awarded to organisations that promote - and have more than 10% of their workforce using – a payroll giving scheme.
The firm provides its scheme through the Charities Aid Foundation's Sharing the Caring initiative - the UK's largest payroll giving scheme. Various activities are used to promote the scheme, including workplace visits from Sharing the Caring fundraisers, in-house communications and six-monthly prize draws for participants - with donations from the firm to charities of the winners' choice as prizes.
Slaughter and May is one of the few law firms to hold the Gold Quality Mark for payroll giving. It is proud to provide employees with access to this efficient and effective way of supporting good causes.
