SoMo

The SoMo network aims to play a positive role in supporting the firm’s efforts in increasing social mobility through our recruitment, community and advocacy activities.

The SoMo network aims to play a positive role in supporting the firm’s efforts in increasing social mobility through our recruitment, community and advocacy activities. Socio-economic disadvantage continues to be the most significant driver of inequality in society and top professions.

Our aim is to recognise the diverse backgrounds of our colleagues across the firm, backgrounds that are often not visible, and to dissect what it means to truly champion our motto of ‘A world of difference’.

The SoMo Network provides a space for socially mobile individuals and their allies to celebrate social mobility both inside and outside the firm. We organise internal and external events throughout the year, as well as taking part in recruitment initiatives and collaborations with organisations such as upReach and the 93% Club. I joined the network to meet friendly and diverse individuals, passionate about social mobility, and I am looking forward to seeing the network grow as social mobility continues to gain prominence both at the firm and in wider society.
