Isabel has a competition and regulatory practice and advises across a range of industries, including regulated industries, on merger control, general competition law, sectoral regulatory requirements, and public procurement. She has a particular expertise in State aid and subsidy control law.

- Bupa on the CMA’s private healthcare investigation, including the related appeals to the Competition Appeals Tribunal

In relation to State aid and UK subsidy control matters, her work has included advising:
- The UK Government on several key strategic matters including the establishment of the Green Investment Bank and the British Business Bank, the rescuing and restructuring of several systematically important private sector banks, and the operation of several Covid-19 response schemes
- Public and other entities in receipt of public funds on the operational issues associated with subsidy control compliance
- Third-party complainants in relation to State aid investigations as well as alleged beneficiaries if State aid
