Slaughter and May is advising Babcock on the sale of Context to Accenture

Slaughter and May is advising Babcock, the aerospace and defence company, on the sale of Context, a leading cyber defence consultancy, to Accenture. 

Context provides high-end cyber defence services across a range of industries including financial services, government, aerospace and defence and critical infrastructure.

The deal was announced on 6 March 2020 and continues Babcock's strategy of streamlining its portfolio by realising value from businesses outside its core strategy.
