Slaughter and May acted for Credit Suisse in litigation in the English High Court concerning disputed financing transactions guaranteed by the Republic of Mozambique. The litigation included disputes between Credit Suisse and the Republic, the project contractor and other parties. Following settlements reported on 1 October 2023, and on 7 November 2023, the litigation has been successfully resolved so far as concerns Credit Suisse.
