Slaughter and May is advising Global Risk Partners on a major investment by Searchlight Capital

Slaughter and May is advising Global Risk Partners (GRP), the leading independent insurance intermediary in the UK, and its founders Peter Cullum CBE and David Margrett, on a strategic transaction under which the global private investment firm Searchlight Capital Partners will make a major investment into GRP.

As part of the transaction, Peter Cullum and David Margrett and founding investor Penta Capital will all retain minority stakes alongside the broader management team.

The transaction was announced on 3 February 2020 and is subject to regulatory approval.
