Slaughter and May advised OVO Energy on its strategic partnership with European energy supplier, Eni gas e luce, a wholly owned subsidiary of Italian energy firm Eni SpA. The deal represents OVO’s first international partnership, which starts in France and centres around its unique ‘Kaluza’ real-time technology platform that already powers OVO Energy’s operations in the UK. The partnership is part of OVO’s longer term goal to accelerate the energy transition in Europe, through deployment of zero carbon technology.
