Slaughter and May advised Everton Football Club on financing for its new stadium

Slaughter and May advised Everton Football Club and Roundhouse Capital Holding, part of The Friedkin Group, on the issuance of £350 million notes in an oversubscribed private placement offering. The long-term notes refinance short-term funding used for the construction of Everton’s new 52,888 capacity stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock in Liverpool, which is currently hosting a series of test events ahead of Everton’s planned move to the stadium for the 2025/26 season.
