Slaughter and May advised The Department of Energy & Climate Change - commercial arrangements for the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station

Slaughter and May acted for The Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC) over an extended period in the negotiations of a contract for difference and support arrangements for the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station, which is expected to be the first nuclear power station to be built in the UK in 20 years. Slaughter and May also acted for The Office for Nuclear Development (OND) on the related Funded Decommissioning Programme for Hinkley Point C.
