Slaughter and May advised the Glas Cymru group - new holding company and amendments to secured financing structure

Slaughter and May has advised the Glas Cymru group, which owns D?r Cymru Welsh Water, in connection with the creation of a new holding company for the group - Glas Cymru Holdings Cyf - and certain amendments to the group's secured financing structure.

These changes have been implemented in order to enable the Glas Cymru group to respond more effectively to changes within the water and waste water sectors by allowing it to invest in certain new commercial activities outside of its core business.

Glas Cymru is, and will remain, a not-for-profit organisation whose core purpose is to provide an essential public service to its customers at the best possible price.
