Slaughter and May advised Vodafone Group Plc in connection with equity capital raise by Vodafone Idea Limited

Slaughter and May advised Vodafone Group Plc (“Vodafone Group”) in connection with the INR 250 billion (US$3.2 billion) equity capital raise by Vodafone Idea Limited, which successfully completed on 8 May 2019. Vodafone Group’s contribution of INR110bn was indirectly funded through a loan secured on the group’s Indian assets.
