Slaughter and May advises Blackstone, alongside Goldman Sachs, on investment in Prima Assicurazioni

Slaughter and May advised Blackstone on the investment by funds and accounts advised by Blackstone’s Tactical Opportunities business in Prima Assicurazioni S.p.A (Prima), alongside Goldman Sachs. Prima is an online insurance firm which specializes in the distribution of automobile insurance policies.  Headquartered in Milan, Prima currently operates under a long term partnership with Munich Re, the largest reinsurance company in the world.  Blackstone and Goldman Sachs made an initial investment of €100m for a minority stake in Prima.
