Slaughter and May, Hong Kong, advised Wing Tai Properties on a property joint venture with Manhattan Garments

Slaughter and May, Hong Kong, advised Wing Tai Properties Limited on the Hong Kong Listing Rule requirements relating to the formation of a joint venture with Manhattan Garments Holdings Limited for the acquisition of a company holding the leasehold interests in the commercial property at 30 Gresham Street, London.

The joint venture entity is held as to 50% by each of Wing Tai Properties and Manhattan Garments. The transaction was completed on 20 December 2018 and constituted a major transaction for Wing Tai Properties under Chapter 14 of the Hong Kong Listing Rules.
