The deal, which signed 27 June, involves two operational data centres in London and Paris transferring to the joint venture, with four new data centres expected to be developed in Amsterdam, Frankfurt (two sites) and London. The joint venture is expected to close in Q3 2019, pending regulatory approval.
The Equinix legal team was led by Andrew Sterneberg, with Truda Agostino being responsible for the real estate aspects of the transaction.
