Slaughter and May is advising Vodafone Group Plc on the entry into of a binding agreement to sell Vodafone Italy to Swisscom

Slaughter and May is advising Vodafone Group Plc (“Vodafone”) on the entry into of a binding agreement to sell Vodafone Italy to Swisscom for an enterprise value of €8 billion (the “Transaction”). As part of the Transaction, Vodafone and Swisscom have agreed that Vodafone will continue to provide certain services to Swisscom for up to 5 years and we are also advising on the transitional and long-term arrangements for those services from Vodafone.
