Slaughter and May is advising NatWest Group plc (“NatWest”) on its acquisition of Evelyn Partners from funds advised by Permira and Warburg Pincus for £2.7 billion enterprise value (the “Transaction”).
Evelyn Partners is a leading UK wealth manager and the Transaction will create the UK’s leading Private Banking and Wealth Management business. The Transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the summer of 2026.
Slaughter and May has been working closely with NatWest’s M&A Legal team, led by Emma Rees, assisted by David Cole and Angus Davidson.
