The new Irish-incorporated group holding company is to be known as Linde plc and is to be tax resident in the UK and listed on the NYSE and Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

The firm worked as part of an integrated team with Hengeler Mueller, Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and William Fry.

Linde AG is a German-based provider of industrial, medical and special gases. Praxair, Inc. is an American worldwide industrial gases company. The combination would create a leading global company for industrial gases with an estimated combined market value of approximately USD 70 billion and have pro forma revenues of approximately USD 29 billion.
